While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use. The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules. 3. Narwal Freo X Ultra The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are some of the best on the market – but it's also pricey. It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to perform this. Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series. However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding. The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does it all. The G30, on the other hand is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials like cereal.
